Searching for an SBC

I am serching for a simple Single Board Computer to connect to my computer and learn Linux kernel at low level. Arunachalam is helping me with it. Looking for a cheap PowerPC based low-end SBC.

I have computers that I bought for $1, $5 etc. I can build linux from scratch on that. But I agree with Arunachalam that a different processor than Intel and a bare-minimum system can help understand things better.
