Tamil Nadu: I grew up here, so I've been pretty much everywhere. Madurai is the first city I loved. You can just wander till your legs give out, and never run out of things to explore. That's what makes cities so much fun.

Mumbai: I was there for just one day, when I missed my connecting AirFrance flight to Paris, due an issue with the bus company that was in charge of transfering people from domestic to international terminal. It was an extremely hot and humid day. I wanted to see something iconic. I asked a taxi driver to take me to Gateway of India but he said "Why do you want to go all the way over there in the heat and traffic? It will take several hours!". I listened to his wise counsel, and just lounged in the shade in Juhu beach.
